Birds chirpping....kids screaming & playing at a nearby school...sun beaming brightly as I lay here staring off into the sky....
Sounds like a pleasant moment of silence doesn't it? Too bad my 2yr old son & 11 month old daughter are chasing each other & screaming! I would otherwise be enjoying this moment but I admittedly have the "Tuned Out Mommy" syndrome...Im sure at some point in motherhood all mommys get it and its nothing to be ashamed of. World war III could be happening right in your living room but something in a mother's brain just clicks...and then silence comes...the war is still being fought, chaos is still there...but your mind is somewhere in a happy place! And what a paradise it can be!! :-)
Guess its time for me to snap back to reality & stop writing...cheerios are currently flying! Lol
